End Use Potential
This file contains the CGI End Use Potential vocabulary, as defined by the IUGS Commission for Geoscience Information (CGI) Geoscience Terminology Working Group. The vocabulary defines concepts to specify the end-use potential of the Earth Resource (eg for energy, fertilizer, building raw material etc). In the ERML model, a MineralOccurrence is a kind of EarthResource that has an occurrence type category and one or more associated enduse potential concepts. This vocabulary provides the range of values for the end-use potential property of MineralOccurrence. By extension, this vocabulary includes all concepts in this conceptScheme, as well as concepts in any previous versions of the scheme.
This file contains the 2016 SKOS-RDF version of the CGI End Use Potential vocabulary. Vocabulary Shepherd: Rachel Heaven/Tim McCormick. Compilation and review in Google doc spreadsheet, converted to MS Excel XML for SKOS generation using SKOS_for_GA_from_XLS_2016.03.xslt
2014-02-23 Conversion to SKOS by SM Richard.
2015-01-08 OLR Edits to fix typos and remove '201401' from rdf file name.
2016-11-28 OLR regenerate SKOS-RDF file as part of migration to new vocabulary server. No change to previous concepts definitions.
